SAR 15 Billion Invested in Saudi Port Logistics Zones

In a move that solidifies Saudi Arabia's position as a global logistics hub, Chinese company JD Logistics — the logistics arm of e-commerce giant JD.com — signed its largest overseas investment by establishing two new logistics zones at Jeddah Port and the Khumra area, as part of a package of agreements to create seven new logistics zones inside Saudi ports.
Minister of Transport Saleh Al-Jasser announced that the number of logistics zones inside Saudi ports will rise to 34, with total investments reaching SAR 15 billion, all funded by the private sector — reflecting strong confidence from global investors in Saudi Arabia's business environment.
